Heng Bodalin is a senior student at Institute Foreign Language, majoring in Chinese and a junior at University of Cambodia, majoring in International Business.
Living with a warm family that has always empowered daughters to be kind, be brave, and be confident in taking every action. But her parents are always over worried about her safety of being a girl when she gets out.
Throughout this concern, Dalin commits to advocate for women’s rights to end all forms of violence against women and girl for a safe and fair society. Besides studying, she likes to be involved with volunteer jobs for women empowerment and gender equality.
Dalin gets an opportunity to be a co-founder of BREAKTHROUGH with other 10 amazing young women to create a platform to raise our concerns and challenge social norms in Cambodia. It is not easy but we have to start from now and start with us.
